Vanessa Hudgens is getting destroyed on Twitter for her ignorant comments about Covid-19

The word “unprecedented” seems to go hand-in-hand with the current coronavirus, so, naturally, we’ll forgive uncertainty in these uncertain times. What we will not forgive, however, is plain ignorance.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens displayed exactly that sprinkled with a healthy dose of privilege when she took to Instagram to post a live video that included a rant about Covid-19. And, well, she said this: “But like, it’s a virus. I get it, I respect it, but at the same time, like, even if everyone gets it, like yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible, but like, inevitable?” She had the video deleted and “apologised” but, the internet never forgets.
