Blue Monday has rolled around yet again. The “most depressing” day of the year is upon us and a lot of us are feeling it. Well, kind of, because the jury is still out on whether or not Blue Monday is actually a thing or not.
The concept was first publicised as part of a 2005 press release from holiday company Sky Travel, which claimed to have calculated the date using an equation. However, it does seem entirely likely that this was used to get people who are suffering from wintery January blues to take a holiday. Pretty smart, right?
Whether or not Blue Monday is a real thing remains a mystery but there’s always room to brighten up your day. And where to we go for said “brightness”? Twitter, duh!
