YouTuber successfully fakes lavish holiday with pictures taken in IKEA

By now we’re pretty in-tune with not taking everything we see on social media as true. We know that poses, lighting and filters can dramatically alter a photograph and it’s pretty easy to fake. But, one YouTuber took “faking it” to a whole other level when she staged an entire holiday.

Natalia Taylor posted glam shots to her 314,000 followers, where she claimed to be vacationing in Bali. But, she was actually at her local IKEA store.

The photos were taken by photographer Ally Amodeo who helped stage the store’s set-ups to look as though Taylor was living it up in a five-star hotel.
