Reporter accidentally turns on face filters during live report

Anything can go wrong on live TV so it’s a pretty risky move. And this is certainly no exception – albeit a hilarious one. North Carolina news reporter Justin Hinton had a major oops when he presented a weather report accidentally wearing various face filters.

Blissfully unaware that he’d turned on the Facebook filter and that he was presenting as a spaceman and then as a cat, Hinton proceeded to tell viewers of school closures and weather warnings. It wasn’t until after he’d finished the report and began checking the comments that he realised he was flicking through various personas.

“I didn’t realize it until I stepped off-camera and saw the comments where people were talking about the faces. My bosses, coworkers, friends, PIOs and more called/texted saying how funny it was, so here you go.

“If you can’t laugh at yourself, what’s the point of laughter? I hope you enjoyed the snow day, and remember to smile and laugh!”
