And what better way to do so than to gift their loyal fans. Details have surfaced hinting a possibility of new music and a TV special on the band’s anniversary. However, before fans get too ahead of themselves with this news, all five members that include Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne – and former member Zayn Malik – have confirmed that they would never go on a tour together again.

If you’re wondering whether Zayn Malik, who quit the band back in 2015, will be a part of this reunion, some sources have revealed that the possibility of this happening now remains high. This is because the other four members recently re-followed Malik on Twitter after having been in a rife with their former band member for years. One Direction’s former website has also been reactivated.

The current pandemic seems to have helped put things into perspective and make the boys truly nostalgic about the years they spent together ruling over the music charts and first climbing the stairs of success together.

An insider has said, “There’s still a long way to go and a lot of hurdles. But there’s a lot of goodwill between them now and they want to make something happen.”
