Taylor Swift breaks record for most Billboard Hot 100 hits by a woman

Is there anything that Taylor Swift cannot conquer? We think not.

Her new album, Folklore, has now ensured that Swift has a total of 113 hot singles on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ chart. With this number, Swift has now beaten Nicki Minaj who previously held the record for 110 hits. Minaj achieved this milestone back in April 1, 2017, when she herself beat the record created by Aretha Franklin of 73 hits. Her record had stayed intact for nearly 40 years.

Being a woman artist with the most hot singles, she is not the sixth biggest artist of all time following after, Drake, Madonna, The Beatles, Rihanna, Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey.

It was recently revealed that Folklore has been streamed over 60 million times on Spotify, just on its first day, making it the highest first-day streams by a female artist on the music platform.

Clearly, there is no stopping Taylor Swift and the power of her fans.
