Kylie Jenner is attempting to trademark "Rise And Shine"

As a netizen, you’re probably well versed in the Kardashian/Jenner world. How much you know (or want to know) about them is a different story.

But, one thing you definitely won’t have missed recently, is Kylie Jenner’s “Rise and Shine,” viral sensation. After conquering the beauty industry, Jenner made a sneaky attempt to bust out into the music business during a YouTube video of an office tour of her cosmetics.

During the clip, Kylie can be seen gently attempting to awaken her (already awake) daughter with a sweet song. However, what actually comes out of her vocal chords is not exactly what you would describe as “sweet.”

After becoming a huge hit on the internet, for all the wrong reasons, Jenner has decided to turn her “oops” into “kaching” by filing to have the phrase trademarked. This means that using the phrase “Rise and shine” for both cosmetics and apparel, including belts, bottoms, coats, dresses, footwear, headbands, headwear, swimwear etc. will boost Jenner’s personal economy. She is already selling hoodies sporting the phrase on her website for $65.

This is not the first time that she’s attempted to trademark a phrase though, as she previously ruffled Kylie Minogue’s feathers by trying to trademark “Kylie.” Whether or not she wins this time is to be determined.
