This just in: Disney releases the official trailer for Maleficent 2

The wait is finally over – Disney has just released a glimpse into the two-horned gatecrasher’s next chapter! Raising hell has never looked this glorious.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil first released a teaser two months ago, and needles to say, fans have been anxiously waiting to see how the second instalment of this Disney story unfolds.

And the Angelina-Jolie starrer leaves no room for disappointing. With a visually pleasing, thrilling trailer that picks up years later after the villain curses baby Princess Aurora, the second part will further explore the relationship between the green fairy and the soon to be Queen. With just a few seconds into the trailer, audiences are guaranteed that they will be treated to top-notch performances by not just Jolie but the entire cast, along with spell-bounding costumes and set designs.

Directed by Joachim Rønning, with a story written by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theatres worldwide on October 18.
